Wood preparation
Every piece of furniture begins its journey with carefully selected wood that undergoes a precise drying and preparation process. The factory has three drying facilities with different capacities, which allow for precise control over the material's moisture content. This ensures stability, minimal risk of deformation, and high quality of the final products.
After drying, the wood passes through multi-rip saws and primary breakdown systems, where it is processed according to the required dimensions and project specifications. Each board is sorted and optimised so that the material is used as efficiently as possible.
Precision machining and CNC technologies
HAMEFA's factory has next-generation CNC centres, panel sizing saws, automated edge banding lines and Weinig four-sided moulders, which allow for high speed, repeatability and precision in workpiece processing.
Through CNC machining, complex shapes, oval tabletops, chamfered profiles, apertures for metal reinforcements, and various structural elements are realised. This allows for the production of design solutions of high complexity.
Robotic systems for a flawless finish
One of the most modern parts of production is the robotic finishing and painting line. The system allows for the application of UV, polyurethane, and acrylic coatings with exceptional precision and consistent quality.
Thanks to the automated production line, parts go through a painting, baking, and drying process within minutes. For more specific items, the final touches are applied by hand by HAMEFA's experienced craftsmen – through precise sanding and attention to every detail.
Assembly and quality control
Before leaving the factory, all furniture undergoes a dry assembly, fitting, and quality control process. Doors, drawers, mechanisms, and structural elements are assembled and checked at the factory to ensure precision during final assembly.
Each project follows its own production route through labels and route cards, which allow for tracking of items through all stages of production – from cutting to packaging and dispatch.
