Wood Preparation
Every piece of furniture begins with carefully selected wood, which undergoes a controlled drying and preparation process. HAMEFA’s factory has three drying kilns with different capacities, allowing precise control of the wood’s moisture content. This ensures greater stability, reduces the risk of deformation and contributes to the quality of the finished furniture.
After drying, the wood passes through multi-rip saws, where it is cut to the dimensions required for each project. Each board is then sorted and optimised to ensure efficient use of the material.
Precision Machining and CNC Technology
HAMEFA’s factory is equipped with advanced CNC machinery, panel saws, automated edge-banding lines and Weinig four-sided moulders, ensuring speed, repeatability and precision.
CNC machining enables the production of complex shapes, oval tabletops, bevelled profiles, openings for metal fittings and other structural components.
Robotic Systems for a Flawless Finish
One of the most advanced parts of HAMEFA’s production process is the robotic finishing and painting line. The system enables the application of UV, polyurethane and acrylic coatings with exceptional precision and consistent quality.
Thanks to the automated production line, components go through painting, curing and drying within minutes. For pieces that require additional attention, the finishing touches are completed by hand by HAMEFA’s experienced craftsmen.
Assembly and Quality Control
Before leaving the factory, every piece of furniture undergoes dry assembly, fitting and quality control. Doors, drawers, mechanisms and structural elements are assembled and checked at the factory to ensure precision during final installation.
Each project follows its own production route, using labels and routing cards that allow every item to be tracked throughout the production process — from cutting to packaging and dispatch.
